We heard this morning that Putin's Wagner army has turned on him and is now advancing to Moscow. To me, a plausible but unproven scenario is that this was planned in advance in collusion with the United States military. We gave up the stragegic central Asian position of Afghanistan planning to take the much more strategic position of Russia. The plan was to wear down Putin and perhaps cause a rebellion that we could leverage to take control. We have one now.
Last week NPR and other deep-state friendly news outlets were repeating a story that Putin would use nuclear weapons if he had to. It is possible that Putin cannot stop the Wagner rebels from reaching Moscow. They are battle hardened and acting quickly. But, he always has the option of using a tactical nuclear weapon to annhilate the army. How will NATO react to this? Russia is relatively weak and is spread thin across the continent. NATO forces may overrun him before he can act again.
